Hello!
      My name is Laura Greenwood. I am from Vero Beach, FL and I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Interior Design in May of 2020. I currently attend Florida State University in pursuit of a Master of Fine Art in Interior Design. 
     I believe design is influential because everyone encounters it everyday and everywhere they go. Given its ubiquity, design should positively impact building occupants. For this to be accomplished, spaces must be designed for all users, make a visual statement, and promote positive thinking. 
     As a designer I shape spaces. The spaces I shape must be intuitive and functional. I believe designs should inspire, they should ignite thought within the user in some way. 

     If we create spaces that are functional, and visually pleasurable, occupants will enjoy the space and be positively impacted. I believe designers should design for people, because people use the spaces we create. I love design because it gives me a chance to impact lives.
